Your Right to Opt Out
As described in our Privacy Policy, when you submit your information through an opt-in form on ResourceMatcher.net, we may share that information with our marketing partners and third-party advertisers so they can send you relevant offers. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
You have the right to tell us to stop. When you submit an opt-out request, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information with our marketing partners, and we will not discriminate against you in any way for exercising this right. You can also use this page to ask us to delete the information we have collected about you, or to tell you what information we have.
Who Can Submit a Request
The CCPA/CPRA grants these rights to California residents. However, we honor requests from anyone, in any state. You do not need to be a California resident to use this page. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
What Happens After You Submit
- Verification. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, typically by matching the name and email address you provide against our records. For deletion and access requests we may ask for additional confirmation.
- Response time. We will confirm receipt of your request and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will let you know the reason and may extend the response period as permitted by law.
- What we will do. For opt-out requests, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information with marketing partners going forward. For deletion requests, we will delete the personal information we have collected about you, subject to exceptions permitted by law. For access requests, we will tell you what personal information we have collected about you.
